Over 25 years of progressively responsible experience related to the design, engineering and management of marine and offshore related projects.

EXPERIENCE/EMPLOYMENT

1992 - present Nimmo and Associates
Principal: Provide engineering services for clients as requested. Typically, design, naval architecture or construction tasks related to energy exploitation equipment are undertaken. Modification and upgrading of existing drilling equipment including jackup, semisubmersible rigs and marine equipment are involved. An abbreviated client listing is as follows:

1991 - 1992 Hudson Engineering
Senior Design Engineer: Responsible for concept development and budget of offshore drilling facilities for a prospective oil/gas property in Russia (Sakhalin) for Marathon, Mitsui and McDermott.

1990 - 1991 Sabine Heavy Industries
Vice-President Engineering: Responsible for all technical activities including preparation of design and estimates for jackets, decks, drilling rigs and pressure vessels.

1989 - 1990 Advantage Engineering Services (Singapore)
Vice-President Engineering: Responsible for design, layout, scheduling and construction budgets for offshore drilling equipment. Preparation of tender for contract of tender-assisted drilling unit for a Malaysian client. Contracted to provide technical services for IMODCO International for fabrication of gravity riser/mooring tower for Challis Field, Australia. Prepared detailed design for a production deck to be installed on a jackup rig for an early production system. Prepared detailed designs for a company offering aluminum helidecks.

1986 - 1988 Omni Advantage, Ltd. (Singapore)
Consultant/Construction Manager: Responsible for administration of contract and specifications for construction of the world's first floating hotel. Managed the team responsible for inspection, commissioning and testing systems associated with the floating hotel. Responsible for preparation and letting of tenders for outfitting. Prepared design of quick release mooring mechanism to allow hotel to transition from spread mooring to single point mooring. Supervised the installation and connection of the floating hotel to the mooring system.

1981 - 1986 Self Elevating Platform Management Pte Ltd. (SEPM)
General Manager/Director: Design, Ownership and Management of specialized offshore equipment for offshore projects. Marketing of marine equipment on behalf of SEPM and parent companies (Promet and Baker Marine). Responsible for the development of new designs and concepts to meet specific needs of clients. Constructed SEPM 150 backup construction rig. Prepared preliminary design, costing, scheduling, specification for proposals for early productions systems in Malaysia, China, Indonesia and ,India. Prepared preliminary design for multi-purpose jackup units designed for drilling, production, storage, and off loading. Numerous design and engineering projects for offshore facilities throughout southeast Asia.

1978 - 1981 Baker Marine Engineers, Inc. (BME)
President: Responsible for the development of new designs and concepts for mobile offshore drilling rigs and marine structures. Directly responsible for the design and detailed engineering of seven BME constructed designs. Implemented technical license agreements with companies such as NKK, Hyundai, Far East Levingston, Baker Marine Corporation and Promet. Directed the project management team for construction of BME designed projects.

1968 - 1978 Bethlehem Steel Corporation
Various engineering positions, promoted to Assistant Chief Design Engineer:
Direct involvement in various capacities with concept design, detailed design, construction, erection, and testing of mobile drilling units and marine equipment.

1967 - 1968 Transworld Drilling Corporation
Marine Engineer: Responsible for moving and marine maintenance requirements of a fleet of seven mobile drilling units.
